I went to Hylan for the first time today, and it the first time I had been to a dentist in years. I am very happy about the way my appointment went, they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I was terrified when I arrived there, they helped me set up financing and the payment plan! Thank you to the entire staff for making my visit not quite so scary!!! See you in July!

I’d gladly give this place 5 stars, but the front desk/phone receptionists seems to have a PhD in Attitude every time I interact with them—though, to their credit, they’re like appointment ninjas, often landing me a slot the same day. The doctors and hygienists are great—thorough, speedy, and precise, like dental superheroes. The place smells oddly pleasant, like a hospital that just discovered scented candles, and it’s spotless to boot.

Update May/2026 Had my first cleaning done by Annette and I had no idea that my teeth could feel that clean?? The cleaning was fast and painless then she buffed/polished my teeth until they glowed. I drink coffee and she wasn't about to let that stop her. This location is an hour drive for me but it's worth the trip. Best dentist ever. ---- Dr. Ibrahim was absolutely wonderful. I have had some bad experiences to the point of having some fear of the dentist and he made sure I felt very secure. I was topically numbed me before they even gave me the novacaine shot so I barely even felt the shot. The numbing worked immediately (previously I have had to have multiple shots for this one very stubborn tooth). I cannot say enough for the pleasant visit I had. The reception was also exceptional and always have picked up the phone and answered all of my questions. 10/10 Parking is the only hurdle- street parking seems necessary but I had no issues there.

I truly gave this place the best chance I could but after this week, this is not worth going to the closest dentist in my network. They are constantly interrupting cleaning and dentist consultations on a normal day. I waited for 45 min after my cleaning for the denier before I had to leave for a meeting. Finally, I had a wisdom tooth erupt after just getting X-rays that fall. I am not sure how they didn’t catch this until I was in pain. When I came in for a consultation they took more X-rays and asked ME how many of the 4 I want out. I said I’d like a professional opinion and they told me the top ones were not an option to remove. When I came in for the surgery yesterday they said they had me slated for 4 teeth removal. I was already anxious for my surgery but this depleted any remaining trust I had in them This practice is an absolute last resort for anyone. I suggest trying any other dentist before this one if you want anyone professional. Moving dentists now before my next check up so I don’t have to go through this again.

They do cater to cowards. The gas helps ease the stress. They are not very empathetic and I feel all about the money. Plus my last time going there I wind up with an abscess that made my jaw set up to an orange size. They told me they would fit me in at the end of the day. When I arrived the dentist was gone and they would do nothing for me. A few days earlier they denied me antibiotics until I was seen (it was already scheduled). I had to wait an extra 24 hours with the worst pain of my life. I’ll never come back!!
