Having had a few less-than-favorable dental experiences when moving to SD I was apprehensive to think I’d ever find the right fit. Then I found Walnut Avenue Dentistry. The staff is friendly, environment is clean, they take their time, they don’t rush client care, and staff explain things (dental findings, individualized care, and cost) thoroughly. Additionally, they’re conveniently located near Balboa park and the personable customer service is unparalleled. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist or who want to step their game up.

I was looking for a family practice, a practice that would treat me as an individual, and a practice that would be close to where I live. I'm starting to realize that walking between doctors and dentist appointments is so much easier than driving on the congested roads we have today. Everyone in this office was courteous, attentive, and more than willing to answer any question that I might have. Dr Martinez is a true caring professional. I was leaving a practice that I had been with for over 20 years due to circumstances of distance and convenience. This practice in the Bankers Hill area met all my needs, ticked all the boxes, and I am happy to say they are now my new dental provider.

Best dental experience I have ever had.....hands down! The staff is exceptional, the facility is clean and efficient, and Christie is a brilliant and caring dentist. I am not a big fan of pain and any dental procedure, but she put me at ease and reduced the tension i would normally experience at the dentist. I highly recommend Walnut Avenue Dentistry.

This is the first dentist office I have ever been to that I actually LOOK FORWARD to going to! I originally tried this spot because it is woman-owned and women-led and I am so glad I did. Both Dr. Martinez and Dr. Louie are incredibly kind, gentle, and know their stuff. Highly recommend to anyone, especially those who feel jaded by past aggressive or shady dentistry experiences.

Amazing staff! Very attentive and considerate of patients’ needs and financial considerations. The best dentist office that I’ve had the pleasure of using.
