I have never gone to a dental office and left feeling like we're all friends, until this place. If you're looking for a dentist that actually cares and has the skillset to help, this office is amazing. I have been to many dental offices where it seems they exchange pleasantries with convincing you to do more services with them and have lost a lot of money and peace of mind. But from the last minute phone call I made to the end of my first visit I could tell they just wanted to help. And that is rare to find. Phillip was very fast and sweet. He even put chapstick on me when my lips dried out. Nicole was amazing and knowledgeable, and Jessica was so kind to want to come out and say hi when I arrived. I may have came to them for an emergency but I think I finally found my home dental office ✨️ one that cares.

I have been a patient at Ideal Dental in Arlington for about six years, and during that time my family and I have trusted this office with our dental care. I have also recommended several friends and colleagues over the years. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has significantly changed my perception of this practice. Over time, as the administration, doctors, and office staff have changed, the level of service and patient care has noticeably declined. What once felt like a patient-centered office now feels much more focused on revenue rather than maintaining long-term patient relationships. I recently called to schedule an appointment because I had significant pain in one of my molars. My schedule is very limited, so one of the main reasons I have remained with this office is because they offer Saturday appointments. When I called, the staff told me there was limited availability, but when I checked online I saw several Saturday appointments available, including one at 2:00 p.m. I scheduled it online. Shortly afterward, the office called and told me that if I came at 2:00 p.m. they could only diagnose the issue, not treat it. They told me that if I came at 1:00 p.m. they would be able to treat me the same day. Because I was in pain and wanted to resolve the issue, I rearranged my schedule and changed my appointment to 1:00 p.m., even though it was difficult with my work commitments. During the appointment, the dentist examined my tooth and recommended placing a crown. I have had several crowns before and personally dislike them, so I asked if it would be possible to repair the tooth with a filling instead. The dentist said she was willing to do that, but that she would need to check with the front office staff. While I was still seated in the chair, the conversation happened in the hallway where it was clearly audible. The dentist explained that she was willing to repair the tooth with a filling, but the front office staff responded that the treatment needed to be a crown. Hearing non-clinical administrative staff override a dentist’s willingness to treat a patient with a less invasive option was extremely concerning. For context, the estimated cost of the crown was around $2,300, while repairing the tooth with a filling would have been approximately $460. As a patient who has already spent thousands of dollars at this clinic between insurance and out-of-pocket expenses, it was incredibly frustrating to be sitting there in pain while a treatment option was being blocked. In the end, I was dismissed without treatment. I was told someone would call me on Monday to see whether another dentist in the office would be willing to repair the tooth without placing a crown. No one ever called, and I am still waiting to receive my dental records. After six years as a patient, this experience was deeply disappointing. Dental care should prioritize patient well-being and clinical judgment, not administrative decisions from a office staff and not a dentist that appear to be financially driven.

The people here are GREAT!! They are very professional and always take the time to help me with anything I may not understand, I have been going here for a few years now and I love the entire staff. From front to back. Jessica is always greeting you with a beautiful smile, the dental assistants are always focused on their patient and very concerned about their procedure making sure you're comfortable and not enduring pain or uncomfortness. My favorite assistant is Diana, but all of them are very nice and knowledgeable. The hygienist is also very good at her job. And the Dentist I'll call him Dr.V he is the absolute best. So if you're looking for a good dental family that cares about you and your smile this is it. Ideal Dental on Lamar Boulevard in Arlington Texas is it....

Changing dentists is not something I’ve done very often, but had to here recently. Ideal Dental checked all the boxes for a place I’m very comfortable with. The Hygienist was very nice and did a great job. Their technology was great. The dentist was very friendly and good at explaining the condition of your teeth. Big thumbs up!!!!
