I always feel I am in good hands coming here for my teeth. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and Dominique is a great and gentle hygienist! I would recommend anyone in the area to come here. Bonus, they have a great music selection!

Tried to make an appt here. The snarky office manager told me they can never guarantee a same day cleaning and force you to possibly make two appointments as a first time patient. Attempted telling her I have zero issues, get my teeth cleaned same day, really short on time etc. She was snarky, emotionless, and all too happy to tell me this is their office policy. Crazy how places operate these days and they quite literally have zero customer service or bedside manner. Can only imagine how she acts on other issues.

Don't believe the hype. I was told that I had gingivitis and/or gum disease, for which I received a scaling treatment. I had healthy teeth for most of my life, no smoking/etc -- but I said fair enough, there are probably things I can do better to take care of my teeth. However, even after I made those changes, this office then insisted that I would have to be seen every 3 months for periodontal cleanings permanently. If I had made zero changes to how I cared for my teeth at home, I could understand this. But they and other dentists will often say things like "Once you have gingivitis or gum disease, you can't go back, even if you recover. Cleanings every 3 months is just the way it is for you now." The fact that they were not even setting a goal of getting me back to every 6 month cleanings was suspicious. When I pressed them for more information, the best I could get out of them was "We need to treat you on this schedule for a year and then re-evaluate." There was also minimal education on what I could do differently at home. It was basically, "You're flossing every day right? Cool." A few Gemini searches I did on my own helped me get to some relevant information that I think made a bigger difference on my recovery... but I feel like that information should come from the professionals Im paying to help me right? Following the money made me even more suspicious -- these perio cleanings they claimed were permanently mandatory were costing me $200 out of pocket, four times a year. There was also minimal effort or even conversation on their part to keep my personal costs down. I recently switched to an independent practice and I am now paying $15 out of pocket, twice a year. I also learned that my gums are now completely fine. I learned recently that this practice is part of a larger corporation called Marquee Dental Partners. The more I see of the dental field, the more it seems like most corporately owned offices (this one included) exist to generate profits first and take care of your teeth second. I never like feeling like I'm someone's cash cow. I will not be returning here and I recommend you look elsewhere.

The level and quality of dental care at ENFD is unmatched in my personal experience at dental offices. Each person I interacted with (Q, Casey, Dr. Nick, Kelly, and Carrie) was kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. Kelly walked me through an insurance breakdown of my appointment costs and any projected costs I might have related to my care and managed to schedule me for a cleaning the next day! Casey is by far the most diligent, detail-oriented, and efficient dental hygienist I’ve ever had and I am grateful for perfectly clean teeth and excellent maintenance instructions. If you don’t have a dentist or, in fact, if you DO have a dentist, you should strongly consider using East Nashville Family Dentistry as your dental provider. They are first rate!

I cannot recommend this practice enough! I've had my fair share of dental trauma, which kept me from going to a dentist for years *shame shame I know your name*. Instead of making me feel guilty for neglecting my dental care, I was met with compassion, support, and a direct plan of care. From the front desk, to the assistants, the hygenist, the dentist, and the office manager (literally everyone), all of my conversations have been nothing short of comforting, informative, trauma-informed, and professional. I didn't feel that they were trying to take advantage of my situation, and really prioritized my treatment. They're willing to work with you and truly seem to be patient-oriented. 10/10. No notes. Thank you, Gerard, Que, Casey, Dr. Nick, and Kelli for all of your help :).
