Autumn 2 months agoDr. Mariam Hanna has truly helped ease our dental anxiety. It took visiting several other offices before finding her and her amazing team, and we are so grateful we did. Diamond Dental (formerly Tulsa Modern Dental) has made our visits so much easier to navigate. In addition to providing exceptional care, Dr. Hanna has two gentle service pups who come alongside you during treatment and, if invited, may even hop up for a quick lap visit. Their presence is incredibly comforting. Thank you for the compassionate, high-quality care. Highly recommend!
Nick Dobbs 3 years agoI’ve had terrible experiences with dentists my entire life and I get severe anxiety going to the dentist. I looked around for a dentist that had the best reviews and I landed on Tulsa Modern Dental after seeing all the great experiences people had. It is all 1000% true and even better than advertised. Dr. Hanna and all of the people there are the salt of the earth. They are compassionate and truly care about their patients. I even had Dr. Hanna’s dog, Louie, on my lap the whole time and he helped comfort my nerves. I’m so happy that I found them!
Peter Guyton 4 years agoI have had 3 dental visits, and each one has been worse then the last with this dentist. I have severe dental anxiety, I have put off going to the dentist so much for fear of needles and being made numb. At the start Dr. Hanna and her assistant seemed super friendly and understanding of that, but I quickly realized their level of care was not what it was made out to be. First visit wasn’t terrible, but the assistant putting on my temporary cap on was in a hurry as they had multiple patients going at one time, not that the one dentist, one hygienist, and one assistant had the time to care for that many at one time, she was constantly popping in and out and being in a hurry to finish. The dental assistant forgot to smooth out the temporary cap and with my mouth being numb, I didn’t realize it till too late. My tongue was shredded by the roughness of the temporary cap. When I came back in to get it smoothed out the dental assistant offered one small apology and then fixed it and sent me off with no more sincerity. Then my temporary cap popped off before I was able to get my permanent in, and I had to go all weekend before getting it put back on, leaving the tooth exposed and I experienced dry socket! They finally called in a prescription after I was in tears from the unbearable pain and they called in something stronger then ibuprofen. But the cherry on the cake was getting my permanent cap on, they refused to take the shots slowly, stating I’d be fine while my anxiety had me shaking. After numbing they started what should of been a 30 minute procedure took 2 hours. It was painful and so sensitive and I told them repeatedly! At the very end the drill “slipped” and hit my tongue. Which the Dr then announced “you moved your mouth” I will tell you this pain was excruciating… absolutely horrible. And her words were “ it’s a small hole and no big deal! She repeated, then asked her hygienist to finish. Wether that be from her being flustered after or too overbooked to finish I do not know. But I tell you my tongue is currently throbbing and stinging in pain. So extreme I can barley write. Again this dentist didn’t protect my tongue as she should have and blamed the patient! Sent me off saying take ibuprofen every 6 hours. NO APOLOGY NO ADMITTANCE OF A MISTAKE. I’ll let my photos be your deciding factor on if was “no big deal”!!
Steven Anderson 2 years agoI was extremely anxious about coming back to the dentist after a very long gap. I have to say that everyone there was extremely polite and professional. I have a lot that needs done and they got to as much as they could on my first visit. Great relaxing environment, having therapy dogs there for the patients is such a nice touch! I'm looking forward to restoring my smile and feeling more like myself! Thank you SO much! I highly recommend them from this first experience. I could've talked with the receptionist/billing person ALL day. I really felt like a friend there and with all my medical issues and difficulties I've had I was instantly at ease. THANK YOU!!
eric ruliffson 4 months agoI left town before I was able to visit, but I contacted 4 or 5 dentists in Tulsa, and this was the only one that actually got back to metoooo schedule an appointment.
