This was my first appointment at Hillsborough Street Dental, and let me just say ….they understood the assignment. From the moment I walked in, the entire team moved with a level of professionalism and calm that immediately put me at ease. No rushing, no guessing, no surprises. Every single thing they did was explained before they did it, and that alone made me feel cared for instead of processed. My visit ended with getting a cavity filled, and even that was painless… like, genuinely painless. They checked in with me the whole time, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me like a person whose experience mattered, not just another slot on the schedule. If you’re looking for a dental office where the staff is kind, intentional, and actually takes the time to make sure you understand what’s happening, Hillsborough Street Dental is it. I walked out feeling informed, respected, and grateful I chose them for my care.

Dr. Zhao has been my dentist for several years, and the care I’ve received has always been exceptional. Over the past year, I’ve needed more treatment visits than usual, and each one has been handled with patience and professionalism. Dr. Zhao is gentle and takes the time to explain what’s going on with your dental health. The staff is friendly, professional and makes you feel at ease. I’ve received and highly recommend Dr. Zhao to others seeking quality dental care.

Dr. Andersen is amazing!! I have severe dental anxiety, but she has such a wonderful and calming presence that I actually enjoy going here. Dr. Andersen explains exactly what she is doing during every step of the procedure, and all members of the team make sure you are comfortable during your visit. Highly recommend!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Zhao and her hygienists. From the reception to the chair, everyone is warm and welcoming. I have had a filling redone and just had my wisdom teeth extracted. During each process, especially the extractions, Dr. Zhao and her staff made the removal far more tolerable than I could have imagined. I felt very safe with them. I plan on being a lifelong patient.

This dental office is truly amazing! I first visited about a year ago for a dental emergency, and I’ve been coming back ever since. The office has a consistently welcoming and professional atmosphere, and everyone shares the same dedication to high-quality care. Dr. Zhao, an absolute angel, and all the wonderful staff are incredibly patient, answering all my questions thoroughly and making sure I understand each procedure and its cost. Overall, this is undoubtedly a five-star practice that I wholeheartedly recommend!
