Dr. Spanel is retiring and is AMAZING but unfortunately the individuals taking over are VERY money focused. I stood at the hallway door for 15 minutes as I was the first appointment and they didn't let me in until exactly at 7:00 am. My normal dentist (Dr. Spanel) wasn't there due to schedule changes and they never called to let me know, so he didn't do my exam. In addition they have made the following financial changes..... 1. Charging a credit card processing fee of 3% 2. Requiring you to pay upfront to even schedule the appointment for the work you haven't even gotten done instead of paying on the day you get work done. 3. Have you sign a contract to allowing them to Charge a fee if you don't cancel within a timeframe. ( I've not experienced this but would hope there is some leniency) Either way is very off-putting. 4. They actually have a virtual assistant that answers the phone?!?! Just confirms the lack of interest they have in actually being personable. It's transitional care for financial gain and not focused on the client anymore which is too bad because it was an amazing place.

I’ve seen a few dentists in my life and my favorite had to be Dr. Ellingson at Regency Dental in Omaha. I’ve always had a fear of going to a dentist to the point that I hadn’t been to one in over 10 years when I found Dr. Ellingson. When I started to look, I tried 2 other dentists before I got lucky and stumbled across him. He and his staff are kind, gentle and patient (besides being talented). They explain what they are going to do before they do it and wait for me to be ready before starting. Especially if you have fear and anxiety about seeing a dentist, you should give them a try!

Dr Kenneth Spannel and his staff are exceptional, from office receptionist, dental hygienist to Dr Spannel himself. I was treated very professionally, always with my comfort in mind, while treating my dental needs. Everyone was very personable, answered my questions and made me feel welcome.

Dr. Ellingston and the staff at Regency Dental are very very welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Ellingston takes time to visit and explains procedures that will occur. Appointments are on time. I have complete trust in his care of my teeth/gums.

Dr. Nelson was great with my son. He is very patient and very understanding about my son who is special needs . He and his dental assistant explain everything that needed to be done . Definitely I recommend him to any of my family and friends.
