Unexpected charges. I was told I was in network and expected a fully covered routine service, told I had no charge when I left the office, then was charged and told that actually the PPO version of my plan wasn’t in network. The woman who helped me on the phone after was very polite, she took some of the charge off in consideration of their mistake (it was documented over text), but I still have a $200+ bill when I expected to be fully covered. I have Blue Cross Blue Sheild, there were many providers who would’ve taken my insurance. Be a more informed consumer than I was and ask more questions than I did if you decide to go here.

My experience with Dental Partners of Boston has been highly satisfactory. I was a new patient last year after not having been to a dentist for a while, and Dr. Park identified a few areas of concern that needed to be addressed with fillings and root canals/crowns. Various treatment plans were presented to me, as well as the pros and cons of each. Having never had extensive dental work before, I had many questions about the treatments. Dr. Park happily addressed all of them in detail, making me feel confident in proceeding with the recommended treatments. Additionally, Dr. Park’s work is high quality and I am very pleased with the results of the restoration of my affected teeth. The office staff is very welcoming, as well as accommodating in cases of changing appointment times. They were also very transparent in terms of pricing, clearly outlining treatment plan costs with my insurance. Without fail, the actual cost always matched the quote with no surprises and they did a great job seamlessly submitting a claim to my insurance. Finally, Dr. Park’s dental assistant, Ida, is very thorough and kind, making me feel comfortable going into the procedures. Top notch practice and highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist in Boston.

I’m a new client at this practice and have had three visits so far. It’s a wonderful, cohesive team of dedicated experts who genuinely care about my long-term dental health. They work with great attention to detail and always take the time to walk me through my situation, explaining all possible options and risks with patience and clarity. Their warmth and thoughtfulness make every visit feel comfortable and pleasant. Dr. Sim, Dr. Guzman, Dr. Labib, and your assistant team — Lisa, Joan, Dr. Daniel, and Diane — along with the scheduling coordinators, Jay, Emily, and Lidia — THANK YOU for your exceptional care! This was my second visit to the Staniford St. location of Dental Partners of Boston. The parking was very easy! I was greeted and checked in efficiently as always like at the other locations. My procedure was very easy with Dr. Guzman - he is an absolute expert and I trust him implicitly. His assistant Lisa doesn’t miss a thing! Great experience as usual! I highly recommend this practice - all locations are great with easy access. I’ve never had a bad experience at Dental Partners.
