Awesome dental care from start to finish. Dr. Motooka is truly great—professional, skilled, and genuinely caring. Myra, my dental hygienist, is the absolute best. She’s thorough, friendly, and makes every visit comfortable. They literally saved me when I busted my lip and teeth open on the reef. The team took great care of me and fixed my teeth so they look and feel great again. I may still be ugly 😄, but at least my teeth are back to looking nice thanks to them. If you’re looking for a dental office that’s talented, compassionate, and actually cares about their patients, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Great place to get your dental work done. I see Dr. Chad KAWASHIMA who is so friendly and easy to talk to. He’s a perfectionist and lets you know what he can do to get it done right the first time!! His dental assistants & staff are awesome too! Highly recommend!

Huge thanks to Dr. Motooka and the dental assistant, Marites, for the excellent care during my visit for a filling. The office was welcoming, the procedure was seamless, and the attention to detail was spot on. My bite feels perfect and the recovery has been a breeze. If you need a dentist you can go to, this is the dental office to go to. I also want to give a special thanks to the dental hygienist, Maricel , for the cleaning I had before. She was so thorough and gentle, and my teeth feel amazing. I really appreciated the care she provided.

I’ve been a patient at Hawaii Dental Wellness for many years and I can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Kawashima is trustworthy, caring, and highly competent. He takes the time to communicate thoroughly, and explain things in a way that is easy to understand. I appreciate that I feel listened to and have never felt pressured into unnecessary treatments. Dr. Kawashima did a crown for me years ago and it has held up perfectly, which speaks to the quality of his work. I typically see Myra (dental hygienist) for cleanings. She is very personable, and does an excellent job; I actually don’t mind going to the dentist for a cleaning! In addition, the front office staff are consistently professional and friendly. No surprise that they have a 5-start rating. If you’re in Honolulu and looking for a dentist, I highly recommend.

I trust Dr Motooka and refer a lot of my insurance clients to him. Lita has been working there for years. She is really helpful. My clients are very happy to have nice teeth to enjoy food and have a big smile on their face.
