I know I posted a while ago but I felt the need to post again today about something very unique that happened today. I needed to have a crown performed today (I've had them before) and instead of leaving with a temporary crown and having to come back in 2 weeks for the permanent one it was made right then. Dr. Gassler now has this really high tech machine that makes the crown right then so I was able to leave with the permanent crown that matches the color of my teeth perfectly! You can't even tell I have a crown. Amazing! And the staff here is so incredible. Let's be honest, nobody likes going to the dentist but from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Jailynn you know you are in good hands. The dental assistant Victoria is great! She really helps me feel relaxed and explains everything so I know what's going on. The dental hygienist Evora is very thorough and does such a good job that my teeth feel amazing! And Dr. Gassler makes sure that whatever is going on you're comfortable and not in any pain. I love these people and so glad they are here!

Dr. Gassler and his entire staff are consistently professional and provide an excellent experience. As someone who has always felt somewhat anxious about dental visits, I truly appreciate how they create a comfortable environment and take the time to clearly explain each step of the process. I highly recommend their practice.

I came in last week for a routine cleaning and had an extremely disappointing experience. I want to note first that the dental assistant, Victoria, was very kind and professional — I have nothing negative to say about her. Unfortunately, my experience with the dental hygienist was the opposite. Throughout the cleaning, she became visibly frustrated with me for not being able to open my mouth wider or fully relax my tongue. I explained multiple times that I was opening as wide as I could. She would sigh and say aggressively “You need to work together with me here” which I found ridiculous considering I’m a paying patient and this is her job, not mine. At one point, I told her that it is her job to guide me on when to open and close my mouth, as I was doing my best to follow her instructions, but her directions became repetitive and confusing. The situation escalated when she sprayed water into my mouth and then left the suction hanging out of the side of my mouth for an extended period of time while she leaned back in her chair with her arms crossed, visibly annoyed. She then asked me, “So are you ever going to open your mouth?” which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak with Dr. Gassler because I felt uncomfortable with how I was being treated. When he came into the room, I explained what had occurred. He responded by saying that he had never received a complaint like this before, which made my concerns feel dismissed rather than addressed. I was then asked if I wanted the hygienist to finish my cleaning, which I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable with her continuing my care. When the hygienist returned, she offered a backhanded apology that quickly shifted into placing blame on me and lecturing me again about how to open and close my mouth. At that point, I left the appointment. I never asked for her name because I genuinely could not get out of the building fast enough. No one has reached out to me even though they said they would call me the following Monday (today). I have never been treated so poorly at a dental or medical office, and I nor my family will ever be returning.

Gassler Dental has been my dentist for nearly 20 years. Each visit has been an absolute pleasure! I would never consider going anywhere else. All office personnel are extremely friendly, caring, and will never try to push products or services you don't need. Dr. Gassler is fantastic! He takes time to explain everything in detail and would never say you need to have this procedure done now. The best in Tampa. Highest ***** rating!

Dr. Gassler’s office is the best dental office I’ve been to in a long time. This office is punctual, professional, accommodating, trustworthy, and all staff have extremely joyous attitudes. Dr. Gassler provides excellent feedback and everyone working in his office makes you feel at home. I’m happy this office was recommended to me.
