Once arriving and being greeted, I was quickly taken down the hallway and strapped into a dental chair and had psychedelic lights in my face and a popsicle or some type with a flavor, but it was great. The whole experience was great, in the “CAT” lounge where you could just sit down and play with cats Seriously, all good people.!!!!

From the moment I walked in, the reception staff made me feel welcome with their professionalism and friendliness—they truly set the tone for the entire visit. The hygienist was exceptional—thorough, gentle, and very professional while still being warm and easy to talk to. It made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. The dentist is always approachable, kind, and clearly dedicated to providing the best care possible. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. The entire team at this location is fabulous. Everyone works together seamlessly, creating an environment that feels both efficient and supportive. The office itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and inviting, which really helps create a safe and calming space for dental care. If you’re looking for a dental practice with an outstanding team that excels at what they do, I highly recommend Distinctive Dentistry by Mullens & Nguyen. Their level of care and professionalism truly stands out! I drive 45 minutes to receive the excellent care Mile!!

First time visitor….this practice blew me away. I don’t write reviews very often…and if I do they tend to be on a negative level. This time is different. Jacksonville needs to know. The people are kind and caring at a different level. First time visits require x rays and a consultation. They don’t slam the x rays in your mouth they do it slowly and you are comfortable the whole time. I told my entire office about them and how great they are. So happy to have found them!

I get the overall feeling that this dental office regularly goes above and beyond and genuinely cares about the people coming through this practice. From my first contact with Liz over the phone and her knowledgeable input, to the staff greeting me at the front desk and the Hygenest that talked with me about my issues, to Dr. Mullens patiently and carefully testing and adjusting my bite, I will be recommending this office to all my friends and family. I feel very grateful that I found this practice. It’s hard to find good dentists and this one appears to be GOLD.

I’ve been a patient here for nearly 30 years, and it truly feels like I’ve grown up with this practice. The care is always personalized and attentive, and you’re never treated like just another patient. Dr. Mullens and Dr. Nguyen are both wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, and truly invested in their patients. A special shout-out to Kay, my outstanding dental hygienist all of these years , who always makes visits comfortable and positive. I’m so grateful for such consistent, exceptional care over the years.
