As someone who has a long time fear of dentists and teeth, I never thought I would be so inclined to write a review for one. This was the first dentist I got established with when I moved to the city. As a young adult, navigating my own insurance and dental work was already overwhelming. Yet Dr. Farah and everyone there made the process seamless, personable and comfortable. As someone who struggles with OCD & anxiety, I felt everyone was incredibly attentive to those feelings. Dr Farah constantly asked how I was feeling during procedures and made sure to explain everything in full detail so I wouldn’t feel blindsided by anything. Most importantly, everyone at this office is incredibly sensitive. I felt very embarrassed about my anxieties and questions, but after my visit I felt secure. I couldn’t thank this office enough!! Dr, Farah might have (almost) solved my fear of the dentist.

Dr Farah and her team did an incredible job with my deep cleaning and fillings. I felt so relaxed getting my treatment I actually fell asleep halfway through the procedure - I opted for local anesthetic applied to my gums. Highly recommend her and her team.

Dr. Farah and Monica are the perfect team for anyone with dental anxiety. They make you feel completely at ease and genuinely heard. They took detailed photos, explained every treatment clearly, and—unlike many other providers—never made me feel rushed or like they were eager to move on to the next patient. They truly acknowledge your dental anxiety instead of brushing it aside, which makes a huge difference. If you want to actually smile at your dental anxiety, go to Smile SF!

After over 20 years with my last dentist, I was so happy to find Dr. Farah. She embodies the same kindness, care, professionalism, and knowledge with a bit more modern technology. I initially found her when searching for Invisalign providers, and am 6 weeks into my treatment. Monica has gone above and beyond in providing me with information, and answering my many questions about the process. She even took the time when the office was closed to address my concerns the day after I got my Invisalign. I was really happy to learn that Dr. Farah also does general dentistry, and was accepting new patients. Last week I had 2 old fillings replaced, and I love how she talks you through everything, and even shows you before, during, and after photos of the work. It feels like we're a team working on my teeth. I really recommend this place based on my experience.

I rarely write reviews but having had a great experience with Dr. Farah and her team, I wanted to share. I came in as a new patient after not seeing a dentist for a few years and I was impressed with their thorough explanations, efficient and advanced practices, and personable interactions. I really appreciate the before and after pictures, the conservative approach to what work they recommended and their clear communication. I would highly recommend Dr. Farah and her team to anyone looking for a new dentist in the Bay Area.
