This is THE place, guys. You want gentle, empathetic and understanding dental care from folks that kick ass at what they do, this is the place. Dr. Butler is one of my favorite people and all of her staff are amazing. I’ve had so many issues with my teeth that they have never even blinked an eye at. I mean it when I say they want the very best for their patients. They do fast, fantastic work. They have always been reasonable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I have zero fears or hesitancy at getting treatment because of this place and staff. You will never be sorry choosing Oakland Eco Dental. Mark my words. 🙂

I love my dentist! Top-notch professional care, attention to detail, calm and friendly staff. The laidback office is run like a tight ship. This is an office environment like no other—contemporary and creative, but it’s the expertise that makes all the difference.

I can't speak highly enough about the staff and my experiences at Oakland Eco Dental. I've been going here for a few years now and the service is unmatched. I also want to highlight my hygienist Julie who is so professional but also friendly and the best teeth cleaner I've ever had. If you live in the east bay, this is the best place to go for your teeth. Thank you to Julie, Dr.Butler, and all the Oakland Eco Dental Staff!

Absolute criminals. I went to Dr. Butler for years and every single time I went in for my cleaning she claimed I needed numerous expensive, painful procedures including all new fillings from old cavities. She and the hygienists would badger me about not brushing or flossing enough when in reality I was brushing and flossing every single day. I let her re-do most of my filings and she was pushing HARD for crowns on my back molars that had old metal fillings, claiming they were going to crumble if I didn't do it. I never had it done. I ended up moving away and the two dentists I've been to since moving have (unprompted) commented on how aggressive and unnecessary all of my new fillings are and how badly they were done, showing me on xrays how close to the nerves she got when drilling and how I'll probably need root canals down the road. And they've both said my metal fillings on my molars are just fine and crowns are unnecessary. AND they all praise me on the health of my teeth and I clearly brush on floss regularly! The office is nice but don't let them fool you. Auto mechanics are more trustworthy than these people. Definitely get a second opinion before agreeing to whatever procedures they want to do.

Dr. Butler et al, do a fantastic job of putting me at ease and helping me improve my oral health. I’ve been a loyal customer for over ten years. They continue to impress me with their balance of friendly, laid back energy, and high quality professional work.
